Choosing the right place for your indoor plants is just as important as watering them correctly or using the right soil. A healthy plant can begin struggling surprisingly quickly when it is placed in a dark corner, directly beside an air-conditioning vent, or against a hot window that receives hours of intense afternoon sun.
The challenge is that there isn’t one perfect location for every houseplant. A bright living room may be ideal for a Monstera but too intense for another plant. A bathroom may provide wonderful humidity but not enough natural light. Even two spots in the same room can create noticeably different growing conditions.
